We had to tell the story with complete unique design for the International Labour Organization (ILO) to highlight its Social Finance programme for English, Spanish and French speaking audience around the world. The goal was to show how the ILO helps the financial sector to support decent work and promote social justice. The video needed to translate policy-driven concepts into a clear and engaging narrative that could communicate the programme’s role and impact to its audience.

STRATEGY/

Since the assignment involved financial systems and development policies, we decided to focus on making the message simple and accessible. We structured the video as a simple story around the influence of the financial sector on the world of work. And we used crisp visual cues, fluid unhurried pacing, and concise messaging to help guide viewers through the idea of “social finance.” Then, we explained the focus areas through which the ILO encourages financial institutions to create a world of work that’s responsible, sustainable and inclusive.
