To create a strategic communication on the project integrated district intervention (IDI), implemented by UNFPA in collaboration with district administration, Government of Odisha and PREM in the aim of community mobilization, demand generation, changing the behavior for improving maternal and child health. The story needed to focus on adolescents for prevention of child marriage, improving the value of girl child and menstrual hygiene. To communicate the objective of this project of enhancing the access to and demand for high impact interventions by improving the health infrastructure in remote areas with proper guidelines and protocols.
STRATEGY/
This story is an attempt to visit questions of reproductive health of our youth by interacting with an ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwife) and existing efforts of our health system to reach out to the remotest part of our country. Do we have our policies in place to take everyone along and that means upholding people’s rights and making them believe this is their own agenda? By contributing to this mission we can help our own people to live more secure, safe and happy lives in these challenging times. We crafted narratives by understanding the value structure of the whole project and the vision of UNFPA.
